Petrolimex wanted to communicate the speed and power behind his most powerful sports oil. The message needed to be funny and exciting, loyal to the emotions the target feels at the wheel. To get there, Whiteline turned conventional footage into a little action piece through a complex postproduction work: film erasing and frame by frame rotoscopy, scene tracking, camera mapping, 3D integration, particles, matte painting or fur and feathers animation to create a 3D modelled ostrich. The result is an impossible race in the limit between reality and imagination.
